Negative: We were unaware that the road to Tekapo was closed on the 8th July. We tried to call the number provided but didn't get through to anyone to speak to. It was disappointing that we were not able to even get a partial refund. When we arrived the following day we had to spend quite a while digging out the snow so that we could park our car by the cottage. There was no shovel so we had to use a tiny spade we had in our car.

Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay which was very comfortable. The Nespresso machine was much appreciated.
